PRIMARY CARE & FAMILY PRACTICE
We are proud to provide primary care to patients of all ages.
Having a Primary Care Provider (PCP) will help you manage your day to day healthcare needs. By making routine visits with your PCP, they are able to identify issues that can potential lead to serious complications. Early detection and healthcare management will also lower your medical costs significantly. A PCP can teach you ways to stay healthy, treat you when you’re sick and help you get more specialized care when you need it.
We see ages 12 month and up.
SICK VISITS
When accidents or minor injuries happen, we provide minor injury exam and care. Conditions treated include:

Cuts: Even when cuts do not involve much blood, they can require stitches. It is best to have them examined by a medical professional.

Accidents and Falls: Please note that if a bone is protruding, you should go to the emergency room.

Minor Breathing Difficulties: We treat symptoms of mild to moderate asthma and other similar difficulties.

With telemedicine, you can discuss symptoms, medical issues, and more with a healthcare provider in real time using video, telephone or online portals without coming into the office. Using telemedicine, you can receive a diagnosis, learn your treatment options, and get a prescription.

LAB TESTING DETAILS:
A viral test tells you if you are infected with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, by using samples that come from your nose or mouth.
There are two types of viral tests: Rapid Tests and Laboratory Tests. COVID-19 testing is one of many risk-reduction measures, along with vaccination, masking, and physical distancing that protect you and others by reducing the chances of spreading COVID-19.
We offer COVID 19 PCR test with 1-3 day turnaround time and COVID 19 Rapid antigen test with results ready in 15 minutes. We obtain and collect laboratory specimens on-site.
We also offer in-office lab draws for routine and diagnostic testing, as well as specimen collection for complex testing and delivery of lab results.

Shed those pounds so you can get back to living a more healthy life! You will be guided through a medical assisted weight loss management and treatment plan.
This weight loss program will utilize medications and education on various diet and exercise plans so you can keep the weight off. Weight loss and weight maintenance is a way of life that will require dedication and motivation.

MEET LANNEKA, NURSE PRACTITIONER & MOTHER
My name is Lanneka White and I am the founder and primary provider of Desired Medical Services. I am a mother of three amazing children and have an intense passion for healthcare.
After graduating with my masters in nursing degree from the Ball State University, I began my career as a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a dream to one day be able to provide care that is not only professional, but personal and accessible to all. Having worked in the nursing field for more than 20 years, working primarily emergency medicine I have gained an abundance of knowledge and experience while my eyes were opened to a tremendous gap in access to primary care.
So many patients come to the ER feeling they have no other option. There they wait while true emergencies take priority to finally be seen briefly; leaving with a tremendous bill and instructions to follow up with their primary care provider. Far too often these patients leave with no one to follow up with or weeks until they can get an appointment. This is where my dream becomes your reality.
